CBT/DBT skills Group
Group members will be psychoeducated and guided in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to better manage difficult emotions, life stressors, and interpersonal relationship struggles.
Group members will process difficulties unique to being a man in American society such as the unrealistic expectations placed on men and will be psychoeducated about emotional regulation skills, healthy ways to be assertive, as well as effective communication skills.
Anger Management and Emotional Regulation Skills Group
Group members will explore their individual experiences and struggles with managing anger as well as other difficult emotions and will learn effective skills to better regulate themselves in any scenario. This group will focus only on practical ways of managing anger and will provide a supportive community in which group members can aid one another in implementing healthier ways of dealing with stress and anger.
Group members will process struggles unique to being a teenager and will be provided with a space to not only explore stressors in a supportive community of peers, but will obtain effective skills to better manage themselves as well as learn strategies to push through all of life’s difficulties.
